    Overview

    The Marketing Planning Manager is responsible for the coordination, planning and measurement of marketing campaigns for the affiliated practices DentalOne Partners supports and manages. This position will assist the Director of Marketing and CMO with marketing budgeting, analytics and campaign planning, as well as helping to evaluate and optimize marketing spend and media mix optimization.  The Director of Marketing Planning will assist the rest of the marketing team in development and execution of marketing campaigns designed to acquire new patients and improve the retention of existing patients.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    • Establishes and maintains project management tracking templates for campaign and media initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain a dashboard of marketing metrics, including campaign ROI, media mix optimization, and cost per patient acquisition. Provide clarity of trending, benchmarking and insight for making marketing program and process improvements.
    • Assist CMO with gathering consumer insights, strategic and competitive positioning, and work collaboratively with internal and agency resources in the creative manifestation of the brands.
    • Develops and maintains patient performance dashboard metrics, working collaboratively with other operations and the marketing team to track and understand NPS, online reputation scores, appointment and capacity metrics and patient retention.
    • Works with marketing team to help identify and implement campaign objectives and tactics to meet business needs.
    • Builds collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders such as clinical, operations, and development to ensure alignment of the marketing process with business needs.
    • Effectively manages the marketing budget, contracts and financial requirements with strong oversight and accountability. Tracks spend and budget on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.  Handles monthly invoicing and practice marketing expense allocations.
    • Interacts with IT and vendors to coordinate appropriate data pulls for campaign purposes.
    • Other duties as assigned or as needed to promote the marketing needs of the organization to support business growth and development for the affiliated practices supported.
    • Design and develop ad hoc marketing data reports as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:

    • 4 year Bachelor’s degree.
    • Over 5 years marketing experience, preferably with multiunit dental or healthcare industry experience, or in national or regional multiunit retail or service industry.
    • Successful, proven experience in supporting strategic marketing initiatives.
    • Highly organized, with strong project management experience and skill.
    • Strong analytical skills, expertise in budget management and handling monthly invoicing and allocations.
    • Previous experience and an understanding of customer profile and segmentation models.
    • Experience in developing and maintaining marketing and promotional measurement dashboard and ROI models
    • Experience in SQL and Tableau strongly preferred.

     

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • High level of analytical abilities with strong business acumen, and an understanding and passion for marketing.
    • Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written. Comfortable with assisting in developing presentations, analytical studies and strategic plans.
    • Possesses strong metrics orientation and the proven ability to develop and apply appropriate analytical and organizational information tools and analytics (Excel, Word, SQL, etc.) to represent/influence discussion points and key decisions.
    • Internal and external customer service focus and the ability to influence and communicate at all levels within the organization.
    • Positive outlook and confidence in managing challenges and projects, strong team player orientation.
    • Superior project and process management abilities and experience
    • Presents a professional image highlighted by an attitude and behaviors that consistently demonstrate integrity.
    • Must thrive in a high-paced, dynamic and extremely energetic environment.

    Working Conditions:

    • Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time
    • Office environment
    • Travel limited and generally not required
